Layer it up and have fun! These great tasting drinks are as fun to make as they are fun to look at. Take these ideas as inspiration to create your own fun layered creation!

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Standard Blender

  • Pour ingredients in the order they are listed (A good "Rule of Thumb": Your liquid ingredients will just cover the blades)
  • Measure your ice with the glass you will be serving the drink in (this will insure a perfect pour)
  • Cover blender cup and turn blender to low setting
  • Blend for at least 45 seconds

Island Originals SB3X Shaver/Blender

  • Pour ingredients in the order they are listed, into the measuring cup
  • Empty measuring cup into IO blending cup
  • Place Blending cup under the lid and make sure it is seated properly
  • Press the #1 (one drink) and let the IO machine do the rest of the work for you

RASPBERRY AMARETTO SHORTCAKE

3 oz Island Originals Raspberry Mix
.5 -1 oz Island Originals Ice Cream Mix
1 oz Amaretto


In a martini glass, shave 1 oz of ice (into the bottom.)
Pour ice cream over the shaved ice in the glass.
Blend Island Originals raspberry mix with amaretto and 7 oz of ice to create a stiff concoction.
Pour over the ice cream mixture to form a peak in the middle of the drink.

Makes a 12 ounce drink in a 10 oz martini glass.

KAHLUA-CINO

2 oz Island Originals Ice Cream
2 oz Island Originals Cappuccino
1 oz Kahlua

Place a few ice cubes in the bottom of a hurricane glass.
Pour Kahlua over ice.
Blend the Island Originals cappuccino with Island Originals ice cream mix.
Pour over kahlua for a layered affect.

 LIFE SAVER

4 oz. Island Originals Piña Colada
.75 oz. Midori
.75 oz. Rum
Island Originals Strawberry mix

First place 4 to 5 ice cubes in the bottom of a fashionable glass - Hurricane glass.
Pour Midori over the ice without covering the ice cubes completely.
Next blend Island Originals Piña Colada mix with Rum. Pour this mixture over the Midori.
For color, cover the very top of the piña colada with Island Originals’ Strawberry mix.
Garnish with a strawberry or pineapple slice.

BLUE MOON

4 oz Lynchburg Lemonade
.75 oz Blue Curacao
.75 oz Rum

Place 4-5 ice cubes at the bottom of a glass.
Pour Blue Curacao over the ice.
Blend Lynchburg Lemonade with Jack Daniels or a top shelf vodka.
Pour mixture over Blue Curacao and ice.
Garnish with a sugared lemon wheel
Alternate glasses to change the serving size and appearance

LAVA FLOW

2 oz Island Originals Strawberry
4 oz Island Originals Pina Colada
1 oz Rum

Pour strawberry mix straight into the bottom of a 12 oz Tango Pilsner glass.
Blend pina colada mix and rum with 5-ounces of ice.
Pour colada mixture into the strawberry mix to cause the strawberry mixture to rise in the glass.
Garnish with a cherry or strawberry.
Makes 1 serving.

BANANA SPLIT

2 ounces Island Originals Ice Cream Mix*
1 ounce Island Originals Strawberry Mix**
1 ounce Island Originals Banana Mix
.75 ounces Hiram Walker Amaretto
.75 ounces Hiram Walker Strawberry Liqueur

Swirl the inside of a Tango Poco Grande glass with chocolate syrup.
Blend Island Originals’ Strawberry, Ice Cream and Banana mixes together with Amaretto and Strawberry Liqueur and 7-ounces of ice in a blender.
Pour frozen mixture into prepared glass.
Garnish with half a banana and/or a cherry.
*May substitute Island Originals Non-Fat Yogurt for Ice Cream
**May substitute Island Originals Raspberry Mix for the Strawberry Mix
